Kolkata Metro Fare Chart (Zone-wise)
The Kolkata Metro fare is based on pre-determined distance slabs and currently has one of the lowest starting fares in India at Rs. 5. The following table shows the revised fare zones and fares for single journey tokens and Smart Cards on Line 1 and Line 2.

Kolkata Metro Smart Card Bonus
Kolkata Metro Smart Cards offer bonus ride value depending on the recharge slab, as shown below.

Kolkata Metro Tourist Smart Cards
Two types of Tourist Smart Cards are available for unlimited rides within their validity period:
• Tourist Card I: ₹250, valid for one day.
• Tourist Card II: ₹550, valid for three days.
A refundable security deposit of ₹60 is charged for both cards.
