Lucknow Metro Phase 1B & future plans
The Blue Line (Phase 1B, 11.165 km) from Charbagh to Vasant Kunj, with 7 underground and 5 elevated stations, is approved with construction starting by Diwali 2025, targeting June 2027 completion. Six additional corridors (e.g., Munshipulia to Jankipuram, Charbagh to SGPGI) are planned for Phase 2, with feasibility studies for routes like Ekana Stadium to CCS Airport by 2030.
